Glasshouse Mountains

One of the more epic and memorable weekend trips in the last bit was to the Glasshouse Mountains. They are located 3 or 4 hours outside of Brisbane. One morning a few of us went into the city in the early hours, rented two cars, packed up, woke up the rest of our mates only to hear screaming voices of "We're leaving in 30 mintues get up!!!" ... and of course they didn't know for what or why, but they were keen. Here we chose to do one of the more difficult hikes which took all day because of it's incredible steep grade. Although the pictures below make it seem to be cold and cloudy, it was actually too hot and humid for a shirt and pants for some of us hikers. The view from atop was of course amazing, the hike up was and adventure to say the least and we definitely proved a couple locals wrong by being able to say we all made it up and back.
